CLIENT: Dearborn Financial Services - Kaplan Professional
A well-recognized publisher of print and online courseware in the
financial sector was losing margin dollars resulting from
inefficient staff tasking, internal dissent among groups and a work process far out
of alignment with the need to timely deliver a quality line of product
in a highly competitive environment.
We were asked by a former client, now
with DBN, to reengineer the entire development process - course
production, utilization of personnel and resources. WonderfulBrain, using one of our
proprietary organizational development tools brought sanity and
alignment to development, tasked individuals, built timeframes for
work product and linked it to a process flow and MS Project document
from which management could monitor tactical and strategic progress.

RESULTS:
Efficient, effective and cogent
process development has brought rational calm to the workplace - 30%
of costs have been taken out of production and the entire production
team equally felt a part of the redesign effort. |
